Eevi has been living in the flat of her sister Ami, with no immediate plans to move into a place of her own. Totally fed up with the situation, Ami finally throws her sister out, and her friend Helena moves in. Eevi is furious. She steals Ami's car and money, and, on her way out, sets the place on fire. Driving around aimlessly, Eevi picks up a hitch-hiker called Jusu. She promises to give him a ride to wherever he is going. Reluctantly, Jusu agrees. Unfortunately for him, he rejects Eevi's advances. He never reaches his destination. Having wrecked the car and injured herself, Eevi continues on foot. She has decided to go and meet Anja, the woman Jusu was going to see. But now Eevi refuses to take no for an answer...
