Its few remaining inhabitants go on with their lives trying to remember those who are absent, and preparing themselves for deliverance, for sacrifice, for love. Nikos Kornilios Born in Athens, in 1954. From 1972 to 1978 he lived in Paris where he studied theater, music and architecture. He first presented his work in 1979 at the Pompidou Center of Modern Art in Paris and then went on to direct for the Chaillot National Theater and the Avignon and Strasbourg festivals. At the same time he composed orchestral music which was performed in many European cities and festivals. In 1988 he returned to Greece, where he taught at the National Theater Drama Shcool.
