  • The Ganic family has moved into an apartment in the center of Sarajevo, after the invasion of their neighborhood by the Serbian army. Senka and Camac live within a sanctuary of happiness, while Zan plays host to Amir, a young soldier who has arrived seeking consolation. During the evening, Camac is called to the front by the Bosnian resistance movement. Next day, Senka and Zan are at the theater, where they have been presenting a play by Heiner Muller. Despite the encouragement of Zan, Senka leaves the stage before the end of the performance. At night, in the apartment, Camac has still not returned from the front. Some days later, we find out that Camac has become an officer in the Bosnian army, with about twenty men under his command. Worried about his frequent missions, Senka pleads with him to accept a post as a military instructor...
