Stavros, somewhere in provincial Greece, married Sofia twenty years ago. He wanted her, he conquered her, and he has dominated her like a tyrant ever since. His wife has always displayed a fatalistic attitude, which remains essentially unchanged, even when she catches Stavros sexually assaulting their daughter, Yiota. By his violent reaction, the man and master succeeds, once again, in terrorizing his wife and practically persuading her to accept the terrible crime he is committing. The only one who may just be able to bring about katharsis in this tragedy is the family's son, Nikos. And indeed, he will attempt to do so.

Biography
He was born in Athens, in 1937. He studied social studies in Italy, and worked for many years in Milan. Since 1994, he has been a producer of TV series for Greek Public Television.
