The film records the everyday life of the monks in their hermitage, over the four seasons. Patience and toil; vision and faith; the new, combining dynamically with the old; sameness and otherness within a communal brotherhood. Silently, everything moves, one inside the other, continually changing form, but always remaining the same.

Biography
Born on the island of Euboia, he studied at the Hadzikou Film School in Athens and the Ecole des Hautes Etudes
in Paris. He has made several award-winning documentaries.
