Trevor is a busboy with a paralyzing fear of women, who literally bumps into Lanh, a desperate heroin addict on the run. Trevor takes pity on Lanh, and soon has a new roommate he can manipulate through safety and drugs. This act of generosity quickly develops into a master-servant dynamic, as Trevor demands that Lanh become his drag creation, Dorothy, in order to fulfill his warped sense of a "normal" heterosexual relationship. Whether Trevor is a totally misogynistic heterosexual or a gay man warped by the closet is never really clear, but what is certain is that his drive to be "normal" leads to his abusive relationship with Dorothy.
