Gloria is an unhappy housewife, who lives in a tiny apartment
in the outskirts of Madrid and is forced to work a cleaning lady to make ends meet. There is absolutely no communication between her and
her husband, Antonio, who, years earlier, had had an affair with a German singer, and had been involved in the forging of certain love letters written
by Hitler. Their 12-year-old son, Miguel, is homosexual and eager
to be "adopted" by a pederast dentist. Their 14-year-old, Toni, deals heroin with a view to buy a farm in the country. The same aspiration is shared
by his grandmother, who keeps a giant lizard in their apartment
