Diego, a famous ex-matador who was wounded in the arena, runs
a bullfighting school. Among his students is Angel, an overly sensitive
young man with supernatural capabilities, who lives under the shadow
of his oppressive, God-fearing mother. One night, in order to prove
his manhood, he attempts to rape Eva, a neighbor of his and Diego's lover. He then turns himself in to the police, where he proceeds to confess
to four murders he had previously committed. Maria Cardenal, a famous lawyer and a great admirer of Diego, asks to defend Angel, believing
in his innocence...
