A heartless husband abandons his wife and two children to go and live with his beautiful lover.
left with no money, the wife is forced into a life of crime, robbing housewives and working as a prostitute.
One day, as she is being pursued by a mob of angry housewives, she meets a handsome young man who
puts up movie posters (who, in fact, is in the middle of putting up the poster
for What Have I Done to Deserve This?), and falls in love with him. However, after being left by his mistress, her husband decides to come back to her. The film ends in a bloodbath, but also with songs
celebrating women's freedom.
