Rebeca loves Becky, her famous singer mother, with such passion,
that when she was a child, she killed Becky's second husband when
he tried to stop his second wife from having a career. Despite this, Becky abandoned Rebeca in order to pursue a second career in Mexico.
The two women meet again in Madrid, fifteen years later. During this time, Rebeca has married Manuel, a former lover of her mother's and director
of a TV station, where she works as a newsreader. Their marriage is
on the rocks, and, during a dinner date, Manuel again starts courting Becky, who becomes his lover.
