Rulo, a 50-year-old bass player in a famous rock group of the seventies, finds work as a crane operator at a building site. But before he actually gets the job, he has to pass a number of tests. Meanwhile, he embarks on a love affair with Adriana, the owner of a kiosk, and along with her we learn of the tumultuous past of Rulo and his band. Rulo has to provide for his mother and 19-year-old son Claudio, who wants to follow in his father's footsteps and form a band of his own. Then one day, a crane operator appears and takes Rulo's job, who is forced to leave Buenos Aires for a secure job and steady pay 2,000 kilometers away. However, after a long period of adjustment, work on the new building site stops, and Rulo returns home, to start all over again.

Biography
Born in 1971, he followed a number of courses and seminars in film technique between 1991 and 1995.
He graduated in directing from the Universidad del Cine in 1995, and held courses on film that year. Since 1992,
he has worked as assistant director, editor and producer
on various Argentine films.
