A team of journalists stops people in the street and asks them to define the traits which, in their opinion, make up the "ideal man". Based on their answers, a sort of identikit is designed, and the man matching the description is sought out. He is a bourgeois and a bit of a sex-maniac, and he is thrilled to hear that he has been chosen as the "ideal man", and that, as his prize, he will be spending the night with a famous movie star. Wild with anticipation, the man doesn't say anything to his wife, but when he arrives at the meeting place, and after waiting for hours, only the journalists show up...

The film received the critics' award at the 1968 Thessaloniki Film Festival.
