Dimitris Petrou, a writer and former terrorist, is writing a book for which he keeps company with people on the fringes of society. One night, he meets a journalist in a bar and becomes involved with her. Petrou has unsettled accounts with the General and Head of the Secret Services. Elpida, the General's daughter and Petrou's wife has been killed during a clash with the security forces, leaving a little girl, who lives with Petrou's mother. The Leader of the Terrorist Organisation uses this fact to his advantage, telling Petrou that the operation during which his wife was killed was carried out on inside information from the General himself, who, until that time, was an informant for the Organisation. The Leader also informs Petrou that the journalist is an informant for the General, his plan being to turn Petrou against the General, making the latter an informant for the Organisation once again...
