Two brothers, Dinos, a true artist, and Nikos, a brilliant salesman, work with their father making pottery. It's a family business, handed down from their great grandfather. As a team, they could be very successful, if only their relationship, like a contemporary rendition of the Biblical brothers Cain and Abel, was not fraught with antagonism. Things become worse when Betty, the proverbial apple of discord, comes between them. She marries the elder brother to get back at the younger one for having, she believes, turned her down. Living in the same house becomes intolerable, and temptation a daily issue. The father begins to suspect what's going on, and, like Isaac, tries to convince the brothers to go their separate ways.
