SYNOPSIS

With murder as its theme and seven ordinary people who have committed such an act as its main heroes, the film delves into images, recollections, nightmares, everyday reality and the attempts of these men to escape from the extreme situation in which they live. Six inmates, their guard, and a former prisoner try to define, each in his own way, the irreversible act that embodies the absurd and shatters their existence. The detention centre, the morgue, the criminal evidence museum, the courts, the police headquarters, a derelict old penal colony, the cells of a newly-built prison that have not yet been locked and the city streets make up the various backdrops for the grim life of the main characters, while at the same time posing as a potential setting for the life of anyone who might, in the next moment, just as unexpectedly, find himself in the inmates' place. Who can be sure?
