A woman has just given birth to a baby girl. Little does she know, but she and her daughter are already unwanted. Three women are released from prison on temporary leave. The need for money in order to run away will lead them to take desperate measures. Lacking proper identification and a travelling companion, a young woman must plead and lie just to buy an out-of-town bus ticket. Meanwhile, Pari, a young unmarried woman escapes from jail in order to seek an abortion. Threatened with death by her brothers for wishing such a thing, she is forced to leave her father's house...

Biography
He was born in Mianeh, Iran, in 1960. After graduating from Tehran's College of Cinema and Television, he directed several short and medium length films for Iranian TV.
He has served as assistant director to Kambozia Partovi and Abbas Kiarostami. His directorial debut, The White Balloon, received the Camera d'Or at Cannes, while his second feature film, The Mirror, won the Golden Leopard
at the Locarno Film Festival.
