SYNOPSIS

A road-movie, a love story. When they meet, she's walking the streets; he's just been fired from his job at the scrap-yard. His arm is in a cast. It's winter. They fall in love. They leave. A film about the coldness of vending machines, the coldness of prostitution, the coldness of love that is seeking warmth. Basically, it's a fairy tale: how can two children survive in the winter?

Philip Groning

Biography
He was born in Dusseldorf, in 1959. He studied medicine and psychology before turning to filmmaking in 1982, pursuing studies at the Munich Film School for Film and Television. He worked as a technical crew member and actor on various film productions, and was 1st assistant director for Peter Keglevic. His films include industrial videos, short films, and award-winning features.
