A young wanderer dies of the cold: it is a fact of winter. Was her death due to natural causes? That's what a policeman or a sociologist would ask. What could we find out about her and how the people who crossed her path reacted? That is the subject of the film. The camera attaches itself to Mona, and follows her wanderings; she has no other choice but to keep wandering, since all houses are closed to her.
