Farruh and Azamat, two brothers of seventeen and seven, live with their grandmother in a small Tadjik town. One day, they set out to visit their father, who works as a doctor in a sanatorium. Tired of looking after his younger brother, and wishing to live his own life, Farruh is planning to leave Azamat with their father. As they travel by train across the steppes of Tadjikistan, they will meet with all kinds of adventures.

Biography
He was born in Dushanbe, in 1965. He worked for the State Committee for Radio and Television, and then went
on to study direction at the Soviet Union's Film Institute.
His film The Little Brother won awards at international film festivals, including Manheim, Turin and Nantes.
