SYNOPSIS

A threatening fort pierces the clouds. A woman dances naked on its majestic terraces. She knows she is being watched and waves hopefully at the invisible guards. The restless Eva is waiting for her lover "Adi" to arrive. The monotonous tranquility of this isolated haven is broken by the arrival of the Fuhrer, his right-hand-man Martin Bormann, propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels and his slavish wife Magda. It is a relaxed day, filled with conversations at table and strolls through the spectacular landscape of the Bavarian Alps. Bormann has made it clear that there should be no talk of war, even though it is the spring of 1942. The only person who dares contradict the Fuhrer at this turbulent time is Eva...
