Nineteen-year-old Mark is a hairdresser's assistant in Brussells. He has a passion for cars, and he's signed up to race in a rally, two days away. He hopes to "borrow" his boss's Porsche and race with that. Unfortunately, his boss needs the car for the weekend, and Mark, who's desperately trying to find a car for the race, poses as the secretary of a maharajah, impersonated by a friend of his, and persuades the employees at a Porsche dealership to lend him a car for a day, to try it out...

The film won the Golden Bear at the 1967 Berlin Film Festival.
