Best Film Award - Golden Alexander
The Festival's first award is accompanied
by a prize of 36.500 Euros.

 Special Jury Award - Silver Alexander
The Festival's second award is accompanied
by a prize of 22.000 Euros..

The other awards are for:
Direction, Screenplay, Actor, Actress and Artistic Achievement.

List of Awards

Every year film critics and people of the film industry, as well as the audience present their awards for the films of their choice.

In particular, the awards are:

 FIPRESCI Award (International Association of Film Critics).
The five-member jury will present one award for the International Competition plus one more for a film in the other sections of the event.
The jury may also present a Special Mention to a film.
 Hellenic Association of Film Critics Award.
Presented to a film from the Greek Section
 Audience Awards.
Presented to a film from the International Competition and to a film from the Greek section having its national premier at the Festival. The award is accompanied by a prize of 3.000 Euros for each film. The Audience Award is sponsored by Dewars.
 Hellenic Association of Theatrical Writers Award
The award for the best Greek screenplay will be presented this year for the first time by the Hellenic Association of Theatrical Writers. The award is accompanied by a prize of 1.180 Euro.
