Beginning this year, in order to promote and encourage Greek cinema dramaturgy, the Hellenic Association of Playwrights has established an Award for Original Screenplay for the films participating in the Greek Film Section, with a prize of 400.000 drachmas.

This year's award is presented to GHOST OF A CHANCE, by Vangelis Seitanidis for its originality, its natural and lively dialogue, its well structured narrative and its everyday characters.
