::SYNOPSIS::
A journey into the poetry and thought of George Seferis. The wanderings of a tireless voyager in places, texts, music, films and people; successive layers; experiences that accumulate in a rich foundation of things both significant and insignificant, before they are transcribed into that other language, Poetry. A wordsmith; a sworn enemy of lofty forms of rhetoric and emotional exploitation; a lover of work and austerity; an obsessive literary craftsman. «By whittling ourselves, that is how we write»; his words vividly illustrate the often time-consuming and extraordinarily arduous Odyssey of artistic creation.
