Two half-sisters, aged eight and thirteen, have never shared any affection or even connection. In fact, they barely know of each other’s existence. The younger of the two lives with her rich parents, enjoying tutors, music lessons and all manner of luxury. The elder lives with her poor grandmother, forced by necessity to show maturity and responsibility beyond her years. When the girls’ father faces reprisal from a rival gangster, the younger sibling finds herself in great danger; her father’s enemies are hunting her down, and the only person she can turn to is her older sister. Suddenly, the girls find themselves running for their lives from the local Mafiosi. Over the course of their flight, the pair come to understand and rely on each other...
