AGGELOS STAGOS - PRESIDENT OF E.R.T.
This year ERT (National Greek Television), the official sponsor of the International Thessaloniki Film Festival, is participating in the 43rd Festival with 12 films, 3 feature documentaries -coproduced with the Greek Film Centre- and a Greek-Italian co-production.

In the press conference given today at Warehouse C of the Thessaloniki port, Aggelos Stagos, the president of ERT, pledged continuous support to the International Thessaloniki Film Festival.

The director of the festival, Michel Demopoulos thanked ERT for its ongoing support and noted how ERT stood by the festival as a sponsor during its first difficult years as an institution. "It would have been extremely difficult to succeed without their support. The previous chairmanship and the new president, Mr. Stagos, as well as ERT3 and Mr. Katsadonis have shown great interest in supporting the festival. We sincerely thank them for helping and supporting this institution and Greek cinema in general".
