CRITIQUE IN CINEMA
The book "'Art' in Thessaloniki - Essays on Cinema", a publication of the Thessaloniki Film Festival and the Macedonian Art Company "Techne" will be presented in an event titled "Critique in cinema" on Sunday, November 17th at 12:30 at Warehouse C at the port.

The director of the Festival, Michel Demopoulos, the vice-president of "Techne" Chrysa Paliadeli and cinema critics Babis Aktsoglou and Alekos Zannas will lecture at the occasion.

The book "'Art' in Thessaloniki - Essays on Cinema" contains articles and essays on cinema that have been published in the last 50 years from the founding of "Techne" to the publication of the periodical "The Art of Thessaloniki".

The unsigned essays, most of which are by Pavlos Zannas, include one by G. Simiriotis. They have been authentically reprinted and appear with the original chronological order. The only alteration was their modification into the modern Greek writing system.

Following the publication's presentation, the president of the Hellenic Association of Film Critics, Kostas Terzis will present the their award for the festival's Best Film.
