Athena Maximou was born in Thessaloniki in1975. She is a graduate of the Drama School of the State Theatre of Northern Greece and has also studied dance and voice. Her many stage appearances include roles in Euripides' Bacchae, Shakespeare's As You Like It, Goldoni's Il vero amico, and Julia Voznesenkaya's The Women's Decameron. Maximou won the Hellenic National Film Award for Best Actress for her film debut in Nikos Panayotopoulos' Edge of Night. Her last film is 'November Secret' directed by Takis Papagiannides.

Businessman Michalis Syrianos convicted for illegal financial dealings is suddenly released. He claims that he was set up by the Vox group of companies where he served as managing director. He proposes to district attorney Dimitriou who recommended his conviction that he re-open the case in exchange for leading him to "Secret November" the organization that murdered the district attorney's predecessor. A young, ambitious judge (Athena Maximou) will find herself in a difficult position since she will become the final recipient of... the film's secret. At the same time Syrianos makes financial demands on the Vox group. The circle closes
