The daily life of a couple of Kyrgyz fishermen: Saalu and Sypat Kalykov. They live in harmony with nature on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul, far from the bustle of the city. Their everyday life is never tedious, but follows the traditions of their ancestors. |
He
was born in Kyrgyzstan, in 1950. He studied film at the Leningrad
Institute for Theater, Music and Cinema. He then went on to work
as a film director for Studio Kirgistelefilm, where he made over
sixty documentaries.
