SUMMARY
While shooting the film, the director is confronted with a personal story between two of his actors: Tahereh refuses to speak to Hossein, who, in the past, had asked her to marry him but her parents had refused. Despite falling behind in the shooting schedule, the director insists on going on with the two, thus creating the opportunity for them to speak again. Hossein tries in vain to get Tahereh to say yes, however he is certain that she wants him too. When the clouds ruin the lighting and the shoot, the two young people will find themselves alone for the first time, in the olive groves... A deeply humane film, whose final shot, many feel, changed the history of cinema.
