SUMMARY
During daylight, an army of living dead begins to pour out of a cemetery into a town. A voice over explains that this scene is being repeated worldwide. At a meeting, the town council discusses the logistics of sheltering these refugees from beyond, many of whom end up in Red Cross tents. The film then turns to the personal aspect of this phenomenon. A young woman is reunited with her lover; a middle-aged couple with their young son. As individuals struggle with these macabre homecomings, the dead begin to behave strangely...
