The youngest of the Barreto family. At the age of nine he acted in his brother Bruno¢s first short film and eventually followed in his footsteps, carrying a camera and creating ideas for films, to become a much sought-after director, actor, production assistant and production manager. His films have won international awards.

The story is about two young Italian immigrant couples in Southern Brazil at the beginning of the 20th century.While struggling to survive in the New World, an unexpected romance develops between the couples, prompting them to switch partners.
