The Thessaloniki Documentary Festival - Images of the 21st Century creates the section of Works in Progress, in an effort to bring in touch the unfinished works of Greek directors with the audience as well as industry professionals. The documentaries included in this section are still in progress. Without a final outlook, they offer a first taste of what is about to be completed. The spectators therefore experience the "first reading" of a draft, while the professionals can foresee with their experienced eyes the final result. In order to foster a dialogue for the further progress of the films there will be a discussion between filmmakers, festival-goers, and film professionals after each screening.
