THE 7th DOCFESTIVAL AWARDS

During the 7th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, four Public Choice Awards will be handed out:

i. Two awards for films over 45' (one Greek and one Foreign). They are accompanied by a cash prize of 3,000 Euros each.

ii. Two awards for films under 45' (one Greek and one Foreign). They are accompanied by a cash prize of 1,500 Euros each.

All Greek films that are having their first public screening are eligible to compete for the Public Choice Awards for a Greek film, whether they are being presented in the Official Programme, or the Panorama.

For the corresponding Public Choice Awards for a Foreign Film, all films are eligible to compete except for those that are part of a tribute.

Moreover, as has become an annual institution, the FIPRESCI prize from the International Federation of Film Critics will be given to both a Greek and a Foreign film.
