The Thessaloniki International Film Festival presents the third part of the project “Spaces” with the participation of seven renowned directors from all over the world. In “Spaces #3” the filmmakers share with us the short films that they have prepared at home, presenting an image of the quarantine which tears down all borders. The project is presented on the Festival’s YouTube channel, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
In “Spaces 1”, 8 beloved Greek directors shot, after commissioning by the Festival, a short film at home, making their own timely comment on the new reality that we live in. The films are directed by: Rinio Dragasaki, Marianna Economou, Giorgos Georgopoulos, Zacharias Mavroeidis, Minos Nikolakakis, Stavros Pamballis, Stavros Psillakis, Syllas Tzoumerkas. All the directors are award-nominees of the Hellenic Film Academy in the categories of best film, best director, best newcomer and documentary feature.
