"In creating the new international parallel section of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, our main aim is to build a platform, whereby innovative trends, new filmmakers, original subject matters, social context and diverse geographic origins will gather and altogether constitute a fresh cinematic proposition.

Our wish is to offer our audience a chance to meet and converse with the most idiosyncratic independent voices from all over the world.

Our search is for filmmakers and movements that determine, even in the most ambiguous ways, contemporary film.

Our restless eye focuses on the future without ever overlooking the unknown masters of the past"
