Every year one or more themes are chosen as a field of research. Films are projected in categories according to these themes. In the 2001 edition of the festival the prevailing concept in the contemporary creation programme is the city.
"Vaslav Nijinsky and the male dancer" and "Tap-dance and hip-hop" are two other themes.
