ÌÏVING NORTH
Moving North is a project developed in the above described conditions, aiming to bring together filmmakers and choreographers from the five Scandinavian countries and to help promote the concept of video dance. The concept belongs to Magne Antonsen, artistic director of "Ultima Film - Dans for Kamera" dance film festival, who has been invited to present it to the Athenian audience.
The idea of this short tribute sprang out of our wish to present five out of the ten films of Moving North (Tï The House, The Radio Ballet, Rewind, Regin Smiour, While the Cat's Away) surrounded by other productions in order to give the Greek audience an idea of what is happening in the field of video dance up North.

"Last night you talked to me about a machine.
A process.
Which would enable someone to get into a booth
- a kind of phone booth - decompose into
radio rays and project themselves into another booth,
where a reverse process would recompose them.
Moreover...
You imagined that, whenever you felt like it, and
for a specific period of time, you could
recompose into the form of your choice.
You pictured yourself flying over Mount Hymettus,
getting your wings wet in the sea.
And then going back in order to decompose.
Yet, would the eagle want to get back into the booth?"
