Writer and filmmaker Marceline Loridan-Ivens had a thrilling life. Having survived the Nazi concentration camps, she devoted herself to art, seeking to find herself as a woman in freedom. A touching portrait of a fascinating woman, who recalls vividly the key moments in her life: the momentous events of the last century as well as loving moments from her married life (1976–1989) with the legendary Dutch documentary filmmaker Joris Ivens.
