Memories and Testimonies: The Long Night of Dictatorship

Μνήμη και μαρτυρίες: Η μακρά νύχτα της δικτατορίας

The years of the Greek dictatorship (1967–1974) and a reconstruction of the political conflicts that took place, as depicted by historians, eyewitnesses and archival material. The authoritarianism of the junta regime was countered with serious opposition by resistance groups at home and abroad, culminating in the Athens Polytechnic uprising in November 1973. Against the regime’s propaganda, they offered an alternative information network.
