Confusion

Zmatek

In August 1968, two Czech cameramen captured emotional shots from Prague streets and hospitals, recording, among others, the presence of Warsaw Pact troops on every corner and the tense atmosphere around the preparation and holding of the 14th Congress of the Communist Party. Twenty-two years later, Evald Schorm created a short film from this material that remained hidden until the end of 1989, and delivered an invaluable document on the Soviet invasion and the brutal end of a spring.
