This funny and revealing documentary, featuring newly discovered footage, examines the most popular doll ever created, from her humble origins to her controversial persona today. A thorough investigation into the inner workings of a toy giant during Barbie’s biggest reinvention that follows the progression and regression in women’s decades-long fight for equality. Within the framework of the American Film Showcase in collaboration with Exile Room, with the support of the US Embassy in Athens.
