Styx

The woman and the sea: A young female emergency doctor decides to fulfil her biggest dream, sailing alone on her sailboat for the Ascension Island in the Atlantic Ocean, close to the African shores. Instead, she finds herself in the heart of a tragedy when, after a storm, she gets closer to a stricken refugee boat. If she doesn’t act fast enough, dozens of people will drown. Α shattering, claustrophobic allegory for personal responsibility in the heinous face of immigration, the uncharted, dark waters of every “official” state policy, and the fluid border between Heaven and the Underworld.
