Öndög

Born in Xi’an, Shaanxi province, in 1961. He graduated from the Beijing Film Academy in 1991. Originally based at Xi’an Film Studio, he made his directorial debut at the Beijing Film Studio. His second feature, The Story of Ermei, was shot in France. He has recently completed his third feature, Tuya’s Marriage. All three films feature actress Yu Nan in the leading role.
