The Quietude

He was born in Argentina in 1971. He studied Film Directing at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. His first feature film, Crane World, screened at the 40th Thessaloniki IFF and won numerous awards at international festivals, while his second feature, El Bonaerense, was nominated for the Golden Alexander at the 43rd TIFF and received the FIPRESCI Prize at the Chicago IFF. Born and Bred is the fourth feature directed by Trapero, who is considered one of the leading representatives of New Argentinian Cinema.
