Debbie McWilliams, the top-notch casting director of the James Bond movies, along with the “generation next” represented by Jemima McWilliams, renowned agent Laurent Grégoire, who served as the source of inspiration for the phenomenal series Call my Agent that we all enjoyed on Netflix, legendary Greek actress Themis Bazaka, as well as the acclaimed Greek casting directors Sofia Dimopoulou and Makis Gazis, are the 63rd Thessaloniki Film Festival guests, within the framework of the large-scale tribute “Time to Act”, dedicated to the art and the profession of acting. This fascinating three-day tribute is riddled with masterclasses, workshops and discussions that delve into the actors and their work: How do they select a script, how do they go through the casting process, how do they approach their role. In addition, in the program Meet the Future, we will cast a glance at the upcoming talents of Greek cinema’s future.
