I Met the Walrus

I Met the Walrus

  #memory

In 1969, 14-year-old Beatles’ maniac Jerry Levitan, armed with a tape recorder and the unwavering decisiveness only true fans possess, snuck into John Lennon’s hotel room in Toronto. Much to his surprise, he was not treated as a stalker nor was he thrown out like an intruder: instead, Levitan convinced Lennon to give him an interview! Using the original recording as a background canvas, this stylish animation weaves a visual narrative that tenderly romances Lennon’s words in a cascading flow of dreamlike images. The timeless wit of an artist and the untamed passion of a youngster, pave, indeed, the path to change.
