Photographer of War

Danish Jan Grarup is used to living in a constant state of emergency. As a war photographer, working in the warzone of Mosul, he is always a hairbreadth away from death. Suddenly, he finds himself the sole parent of four children, as his ex-wife falls terminally ill with cancer. Jan is striving to find a balance between the fervent love for his profession and his new demanding responsibilities. A delicate and multi-layered psychological portrait of a man who has tirelessly documented the horrors of mankind and is up against the fiercest inner challenge of his life.
