Argentina, late 80s, in the conservative and ultra-Catholic provincial town of Córdoba. Transgender woman Delpi along with her fellow ostracized drag queen friends form Kalas Group, giving extravaganza shows of lip-syncing. Their performances were a means of resistance, a shield against social exclusion, police brutality, family rejection, as well as an attempt of banishing their own personal demons: the scourge of AIDS had been plunging their community in grief and loss. A parade of unique and rare footage that bids a bittersweet farewell to the wild days of companionship, rebellion, and heartache.
