Thousand

A city is sleeping under grey clouds. Hardly anyone remembers blue skies anymore. Although a song can still be heard coming from the inns by the harbor about “the wind that will chase away the clouds when a thousand suns rise over the streets,” it seems nobody really thinks that the blue skies will ever return.

Danijel Zezelj

Graphic novelist, animator, painter and graphic designer. His illustrations and comics have been published by DC Comics/Vertigo, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse, The New York Review of Books, Harper's Magazine, Grifo Edizioni, Hazard, Dargaud, etc. He is author of more than 20 graphic novels and two animated movies, A Different Bunny (2010) and Fibonacci Bread (2012). In 2001, he co-founded Petikat, a publishing company and design and video workshop. He lives and works in Brooklyn and Zagreb.
